Marine Tendering Engineer

Job Brief:
As a Tender Engineer you are expected to work on various type of marine construction
projects such as dredging, breakwater construction, marine pipeline projects
(GRP,HDPE), port construction and rehabilitation, and levelling works etc.
Responsibilities:
1- Following and analyzing domestic marine construction tenders received by sales
department,
2- Preparing PQ files, cost and risk analysis, master plan, method statements,
drawings for both commercial and technical parts of the tender package,
3- Prepare Commercial and Technical Package for tender submittal according to
end-user requirement,
4- Communicating with possible vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors to request
quotations,
5- Communicating with related departments such as, Procurement, Finance,
Contracts to optimize and achieve the most competitive rates for the Clients,
6- Planning necessary equipment and manpower according to the tender
requirements within the optimum time frame, following to the contract awards.
7- Support in making sub-contractor’s contracts and execution of works along with
the project manager and purchasing department following to the contract works.
Qualifications and Experience:
1- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Coastal Engineering is a must.
2- 4 Years of relevant experience in marine construction field.
