Van Salesman
- Job Purpose
Identify new sales opportunities, inform regular/new customers of Sharjah
coop’s products, and meet sales targets.
Increase sales by promoting products and analyzing competitor
behavior. - Key Accountabilities
Driving a van to different locations and selling products to
customers/groceries.
Promote the company’s products to customers/groceries
Ensure that all outlets are visited in the correct sequence as directed by
the line manager.

Receive purchase orders and inform customers of new products.
Deliver purchase orders in a safe and timely manner.
Loading and unloading of material/products.
Collect payments on delivery of products and settle with the finance
department.
Maintain sales and delivery records.
Ensure availability of sufficient stock.
Achieve the daily & monthly sales target by ensuring complete and
proper coverage of all allocated areas.
Identify new business opportunities with both current and new customers
& maintain a good relationship with the customers.
Builds solid and long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with
them and understanding their needs.
Submit daily activity reports to the Supervisor detailing sales
performance, market coverage and competitors’ activities.
Ensure the cleanliness of the interior and the exterior of the van.
Maintain the van in proper working order and perform basic maintenance
tasks, such as checking tire pressure and gas and oil levels.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
